Who am I …

For years, my creative expression lived as oil on canvas. My passion for pottery developed in later years of my life. But a quiet fascination with clay was planted long ago, when I happened to meet a very well renowned master potterin New Delhi during my college days, and was highly facinated by her work. I would say she has always been my inspiration.

In 2020, that spark finally became a reality on the wheel that was our daughter’s 18th Birthday gift! After she left for college, the wheel stayed behind and I took a few local classes in Austin Texas during covid times in 2020 and fell completely in love.

I create pottery that is deeply inspired by the textures, colors, and patterns of the natural world. As a lifelong animal lover and advocate for the planet, I make a conscious effort to keep my studio practice as eco-friendly as possible. Every piece is handmade with respect for the environment that inspires it.

My pieces are designed for everyday life—objects I genuinely love to have in my own home. No matter where in the world my journey takes me next, clay is now my permanent love, anchor, and passion.
